Application process:
Start by learning the foundational programming languages for all websites: HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Discover how HTML and CSS interact to create the visual layout of websites before JavaScript interacts with each element to make websites responsive.
Now you have the fundamentals, you’ll begin to create websites and applications. JavaScript can manipulate on-screen elements and respond to events such as a mouse click or keystroke. Learn how to leverage JavaScript as you create simple websites and applications.
Learn how to write production-grade code to create dynamic websites that display different content every time a person views them. It is important that you can create both static and dynamic websites, but the majority of your front-end development work will be geared towards dynamic sites.
Front-end developers need to know a JavaScript framework, and React.js is one of the most popular frameworks in the world. Created by Facebook, you’ll dive into the powerful and accessible capabilities of React.js that allow you to quickly create applications which scale easily.
To maximize the potential of your websites and apps, you must understand how the internet works. Learn how developers interact with web servers, make HTTP requests and use JavaScript to fetch external data from APIs with a series of technologies known as AJAX. We’ll then tackle one of the tougher topics in JavaScript, asynchronous code.
