All Springboard bootcamps are 100% online, self-paced, and take three, six, or nine months to complete. During each bootcamp, students are matched with an industry mentor who guides them during the program through regular one-on-one video calls. They’re supported by a student advisor to help create study plans and stay accountable in addition to their own career coach beginning in the course, and continuing throughout the job search until starting their new job.
Similar to Springboard, all of Coursera’s courses are online, and some include office hours where students can ask questions of the instructor. However, like most massive open online courses (MOOCs), the majority of Coursera courses take a hands-off approach to instruction and consist of video lectures, readings, and optional assignments.
